Image
We have been exploring pitch this week. We made musical instruments to create a table orchestra. The aim was to make sure that our musical instruments could create notes with a different pitch. Tight, thin objects made a higher pitcher and loose, thick objects made a lower pitch.

Year 4's visit to Mountfitchet Castle

Image
Although we arrived at Mountfitchet Castle later than planned Year 4 had an excellent and informative time. We were particularly pleased with the levels of sensible engagement with interactive exhibits, good and polite behaviour and amazed that no-one fell over! Thanks to all the staff that were supporting and Mr Murphy for his broom.
