 As some of the parents asked for texts to read over the Summer, I have assigned a few that you can  access via Twinkl Go. Please also keep practising all the digraphs and trigraphs in the Phonics Sounds books, as the Year 1 teachers will be very pleased if they know them all! Remember to visit your local library and sign up to the Summer Reading Challenge.

 We finished our Shakespeare unit with the children acting their rewritten versions of Act 1, Scene 2 of The Tempest. The characters here are Prospero, Miranda and Ariel.

So  the curtain falls on this unforgettable football tournament, marked by passion, determination, and moments that will be talked about for years to come. The final was nothing short of incredible — a true clash of titans that had fans on the edge of their seats from the first whistle to the last. With breathtaking goals, heroic saves, and drama until the very end, it was the perfect highlight of all the weeks of fierce competition. As the champions collected their medals and have an amazing memory to cherish forever.
