Autumn 1- Collective Worship

The theme for this half-term's collective worship has been 'Christianity as a global and diverse faith' . During collective worship, we have explored Christianity around the world including questions such as:

  • How many Christians are there around the world?
  • What does Christianity look like in other countries?
  • How could we recognise Christians around the world?
  • In what countries are there the most Christians?
  • How do Christian celebrations vary around the world?
  • How do some people choose to dedicate their lives to God, e.g monks and nuns?
  • How many languages has The Bible been translated into?
  • What does The Lord's Prayer sound like in other countries?

We have really enjoyed learning about the rich and diverse Christian faith and how this compares to how we celebrate Christianity in our school.

Fun fact: Did you know know that there is a monastery in Tolleshunt Knights?
