Maths - 2D and 3D shapes

 This week, we have been exploring 2D and 3D shapes, using 'vertices' 'edge' 'face' 'corner' 'side' 'curved' and 'straight'.

We have been describing the shapes and drawing them ourselves with a ruler! We have also been exploring symmetry! A busy week in Year 2 with lots of lovely learning!

Here are some pictures of 2B playing 'hand up-pair up' where we had to find our matching partner! One of us had a description of a shape and the other had a picture!

There are also some pictures of both classes exploring making and building 2D and 3D shapes!
