Weekly Round-Up 21.3.25

 Book focus: Clean Up! by Nathan Bryon. Today, we have sequenced the story and retold it: this was tricky! Please remember to talk about characters and events when reading the Rhino Reader. There are some good questions at the back to support parents with this. 

Maths focus: doubles, including using the stem sentences  ____ is made of __ and ____. ___ and ___ make ___. We used the words equal/the same when talking about the parts. 

PE focus: gymnastics, using apparatus to develop balance, control and coordination.  We are also working on our jumping so that we are landing safely on our feet, with bendy knees. 

PSHCE/The Natural World focus: caring for our world. We have been talking about rubbish and recycling. We sorted out rubbish into their materials. 

We have daily Phonics, handwriting, reading and writing sessions.
