Maths - 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3

 Having learnt about equal groups - recognising and making, we have travelled along a learning journey about fractions!

We have been learning to recognise and make halves, quarters and thirds with shapes and with numbers.  Using our new knowledge, we have been 'thinking deeper' whilst answering word problems and sharing our thoughts with our friends.

Today we looked at equivalent fractions.  Is 2/4 the same as 1/2? How can we prove that?
