Book focus:  Why Elephant Has a Trunk  (Tinga Tinga Tales)


Maths focus: counting beyond 20, recognising the pattern of the number system. We enjoyed using the rekenreks to make teen numbers! 

PSHCE focus: healthy eating and food groups.

Science focus: we came back after the weekend to be greeted by butterflies! We let them go into the new flower gardens.  

Music focus: we learned a call and response song called Jambo. Jambo means 'hello' in Swahili and is used in our Tinga Tinga Tales. 

PE focus:  we continued our new unit called Hands, Feet, Equipment. We practised rolling and throwing. 

We have daily Phonics, handwriting, reading and writing sessions. We have enjoyed looking at different pictures and have been writing some super captions and sentences. Please remember to read the Rhino Reader texts set on Twinkl Go!
