 Story focus: The Enormous Turnip


Maths focus: visual and auditory subitising (we had to listen to an instrument and listen if it was played 1,2 or 3 times). We used positional language to explore the shape Numberblock 4 can make such as 'there are 3 at the bottom and 1 at the top in the middle' and 'there are 4 in a square shape' and 'there are 3 standing up and 1 at the side at the bottom'.



PSED focus: talking about people who help us at home and at school. We have looked at the Zones of Regulation and identifying emotions. 




Science focus: Autumn is one of the four seasons.  Loots of leaves are falling off trees and it is getting colder.  We found different shaped leaves and made some Leaf Men with them. RJ are very keen on collecting sycamore seed pods!

PE Focus: moving in a space and listening to instructions to play simple games. 

We always enjoy COOl Time (Choosing Our Own Learning) and we practise lots of skills during this time.
