Story focus: We're Going To Find The Monster! by Malorie Blackman  


Maths focus: comparing amounts using 'more' and 'fewer'. We used the stem sentences ___ has more than ___. ___ has fewer than ____. RJ compared amounts with George an Georgina.  We also compared amounts on our fingers.










PSED focus: acting out emotions and placing them on the Zones of Regulation. We discussed times when we might feel sad, worried, annoyed, happy etc using the stem sentence I feel ______ when _____. We also learned about the festival Diwali and that Hindus celebrated it on Monday by decorating their homes, dressing in smart clothes, eating food, being together with family, watching fireworks and by praying to Gods. 



PE Focus: coordination and core strength using scooter boards - these are so fun!

We always enjoy COOl Time (Choosing Our Own Learning) and we practise lots of skills during this time.
