Weekly Round-Up 6.11.25
We have started daily handwriting sessions. We are working on using a three finger pincer grip. We follow letter families, for example this week we have been writing t,i and u as they follow similar movements.
Story focus: Hello Hello by Brendan Wenzel
Maths focus: matching models using positional language and conceptual subitising. We had to copy models and grid placements, describing what we could see and where e.g "I see 3 in the middle and 1 at the bottom" and " I can see 2 at the side and 2 in the corners".
PSED focus: recognise similarities and differences amongst our peers. We had chats about our likes and dislikes and played Would You Rather? to show that we have different views. RW discussed the meaning of Remembrance Day (RJ will cover this next week).
