As part of Year 5s learning about the Windrush, we were all treated to a fantastic performance of a steel pan band in Collective Worship.
Story focus: The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We read and retold the story.
Literacy focus: we have daily Phonics and handwriting sessions. We have individual reading sessions, practising our blue Phonics book or reading books. Some of us have started writing captions, 'holding' the phrase and then writing it with fnger spaces - quite tricky! .

PE focus: we had our last gymnastics session. Our safe jumping and landing has improved enormously and we are more confident to climb and balance.
Science focus: recapping the changes in winter
PSED focus: our visit to St Dominics to see the residents.
We always enjoy COOL Time (Choosing Our Own Learning) and we practise lots of skills during this time.
