Weekly Round-Up 27.3.26
Happy Easter!
Enjoy the break.
Story focus: We have been making up our own stories thinking about who, where and what happens? Adults have been modelling using language such as once upon a time...one day...suddenly...so..luckily......the end
RW used the Dog Squad as inspiration for some of their characters and events. RJ's stories were a bit more gruesome with lots of unfortunate endings for the characters!
Literacy focus: we have daily Phonics and handwriting sessions. We have individual reading sessions, practising our blue Phonics book or reading books.
This is a double because the ___ is a part and ___ is a part. The parts are the same.
___ is made of ___and ___
PE focus: we played the Tidy Up game again. We had to sort the rubbish into bins and then we had some children be litterbugs and mix the rubbish up!
Understanding the World focus: we have had visitors in to talk about their jobs. We were very interested in Mrs Laffar's job and asked lots of questions! We also enjoyed the Easter Church service and made an Easter garden with Father Simon and Mrs Jayatilike.
We always enjoy COOL Time (Choosing Our Own Learning) and we practise lots of skills during this time.
