CPSL Athletics 2026

We had a wonderfully warm and supportive day at the CPSL regional athletics competition today, with a group of 48 children from years 3 to 6.  This was the first inter-school competition for many of the children and they should feel incredibly proud of their achievements and conduct today.

The children represented Kelvedon in many track events and also throwing, long jump and the much anticipated relays -  with most of our individual short distance runners qualifying for the finals!

Many medals were brought home although every single athlete (and parent) today should feel incredibly proud.  Mr Ladlow and I certainly are.

A special thanks to all of the parents who stayed with us for the entirety of the day, or for transporting your children.  Your patience, understanding and support meant the world to us and the children!  Your help and support throughout the day meant children were where they needed to be and the family spirit of our school was evident - Thank you!

To the children - Your resilience, team spirit, support and energy was amazing today, despite the heat and a few lane mishaps.  You smiled, you laughed and you had fun whilst representing our school.  You were polite, fair and patient, which meant the day ran smoothly and everyone had the support behind them- Thank you!

Here are a few pictures of our day! If you have anymore, please do forward them to the school - we would love to see them!
