Story focus: The Carrot Seed by Ruth Krauss.


We have daily Phonics and handwriting sessions.  We have a Literacy session where we discuss a picture, compose sentences and then write them.  We also have individual reading sessions, practising our blue Phonics book or reading books. 


Maths focus: composition of 5 and doubles.

 




PE focus: Country Dancing 








Understanding the World/PSED focus: life cycles. We looked at life cycles of seeds and animals. 


We always enjoy COOL Time (Choosing Our Own Learning) and we practise lots of skills during this time.
