Maths and Science

 Well, it certainly has been a busy day in Year 3. 

In maths today, the children were representing numbers to a 1000. 

To shows this, they were using dienes sticks and place value counters. 

In science, the children conducted an experiment. They tested how different liquids affect the size of a gummy bear. We discussed what a fair test is and they made predictions about what they thought would happen.
