 Today, we continued our learning about place value. We practised comparing numbers using the greater than, less than and equal to symbols. The children rolled a dice to generate their own 3-digit numbers and then worked on ordering them from smallest to largest. We used our stem sentence to help us explain our thinking and discovered that if the greatest place value is the same, we need to look at the next biggest place value to decide which number is greater.
