Reading

The aim in year 6 is to strengthen fluency, increase vocabulary, and build confidence through regular practice. Reading at home as well at school helps progress and encourages consistent reading habits. Your support at home is greatly appreciated.

Spellings

Each week Year 6 will have a new set of 10 spellings that will be posted on the blog. Please support your child with learning these over the week. Thank you!

Here are some different ways you can practise the spellings - 

Maths

Each week there will be Maths homework handed to the pupils on a Thursday. This homework will be based on areas of focus, pre-teaching for following lessons and recapping core subject areas. Please support them in completing this. Thank you.
