Today in Nature Club we have been learning about habitats, what they are and how to identify them. We have also discussed biomes. In the Eco-Garden area we have identified habitats and discussed how we can improve the biodiversity of them. There have been some great suggestions and I'll have a look and see which ones might be appropriate in the Eco-Garden area. Mr Hopegood

 

Thanks to all of you who have been practising Phonics with your child - we are very impressed with how they are doing with the sounds and words in their blue books!  And so we have reached day 4, the last full day of our residential visit. Today's highlights include rifle shooting (perfectly safe, I promise), zip wire and aeroball - a cross between trampoling and basketball. Tonight, we have a disco, a chance to showcase our dance moves! Only one more sleep and we will be heading back home. Day 4 + more activities galore! Mrs Lawrence and the team.

 Wednesday, the half-way point of our residential, has dawned a little overcast but this has not dampened our spirits! New activities today include archery, trapeze, Jacob's ladder and fencing. Another action-packed day ahead of us with balloon splash tonight - that sounds very interesting! Day 3 = this is a great place to be!
