Year 6 Homework - Due 17/09/26 Reading The aim in year 6 is to strengthen fluency, increase vocabulary, and build confidence through regular practice. Reading at home as well at school helps progress and encourages consistent reading habits. Your support at home is greatly appreciated. Spellings Each week Year 6 will have a new set of 10 spellings that will be posted on the blog. Please support your child with learning these over the week. Thank you! Here are some different ways you can practise the spellings -  Maths Each week there will be Maths homework handed to the pupils on a Thursday. This homework will be based on areas of focus, pre-teaching for following lessons and recapping core subject areas. Please support them in completing this. Thank you. Have a lovely week! First Week in Year 3

 Well, what a fantatsic first week it has been in Year 3.  We are so proud of the children for making excellent choices. Please keep it up Year 3.  Take a look at some of their learning. 

Year 4 Maths

We have had a great start to Year 4 this week. We have started the year off really well and have already started to show what amazing learners we are. In maths, we have been busy learning to partition and represent different numbers up to 1,000.

The finished article, Year 5's D&T project

 After deciding upon an intention, planning, designing and then producing a wooden cradle in our D&T morning with Thurstable School's D&T Department Mrs Deller and Miss Scotchford got serious with circuitry and decoration. The results are spectacular and, as you'll know from the Open Evening, really loud! Mr Hopegood :)
